How to build new partnerships to globally support EU priorities on the circular economy. This is only one question addressed in a SWITCH project lab during the European Development Days.
The transition to a circular economy poses challenges to raw materials supply, manufacturing and recycling in Europe as well as in partner countries. SMEs – essential players in slowing or closing resource cycles – need support to make the radical shift from a linear economy to circular business models and circular value chains. In the SWITCH session on June 15th (13:00 to 13:45), three SMEs supported under the EU funded SWITCH programme share their journey towards circular practices and a greener employment.
Next to the SWTICH project lab, the European Development days will offer over 90 sessions, a fully digital global village and networking opportunities with people and organisations connecting from across the world.
