The European Union SWITCH to Green initiative aims at facilitating the transition to an inclusive green economy, delivering greater impact, effective management and EU visibility. It builds on several initiatives, in particular the SWITCH programme implemented in Asia, Africa and the Mediterranean.
This IMPACT APP is meant to provide the SWITCH Grant projects with a platform to document and report their impact. The online tool targets projects associated with the EU funded SWITCH programmes only. Thus, only SWITCH project actors can register to the platform.
On the online platform, grant projects can encode information, project and impact data into a database that is used by the European Union SWITCH to Green initiative for monitoring and other purposes, notably communication and visibility. Based on this information, the production of annual publications with information on the impact of the SWITCH Grant projects is envisaged.
